MEI is currently installing cellular based remote monitoring capabilities to over 90 of Duke Energy's telecom sites across North and South Carolina. When complete Duke's maintenance team will be able to remotely monitor the status of these critical sites at all times.

MEI partnered with Generating Solutions the provider of the remote monitor system.

Duke Energy's project manager is Michael Dean.
